The Hometown Boys Band
The Hometown Boys, established in the summer of 2009, have been entertaining crowds throughout Southern Louisiana. They provide something for everyone’s music preference with a diverse song list including Rock, Country, Blues and Funk.
In 2007, Trent Bourgeois, a native of St. Amant, Louisiana released his first album entitled “Easy Street”. This debut was met with unexpected success and was a kickoff to his musical career. Bourgeois a talented singer, performer, and songwriter has been singing and performing most of his life. Beginning at the age of ten with his grandmothers’ gift of teaching him guitar. From the toughest “beer joints” to local festivals, Bourgeois has “been there and done it all”.
Trent Bourgeois has just released a new album of original and cover songs, all of which give the listener a glimpse and feel of rural Louisiana roadhouse on a “hot” southern Saturday night. From his Cajun, zydeco, country and swamp pop roots, Bourgeois has captured the magic of a real Louisiana dance hall.
Keeping his Louisiana roots alive in his music, with a bit of swamp pop and zydeco with a country and rock n’ roll twist, Trent Bourgeois is certain to bring you to the bayou and make you want to get up and dance.
